Watched both; I think Ayton is soft.

 

Not sure what benefit Bagley gets by going to Duke vs going to Arizona. Marquee program's; it's not as if games aren't readily available these days.

 

Not that it matters, but Arizona hasn't had a great history in the NBA draft - you could argue the last "good" NBA player they popped out was Iggy in 2004.

 

Bagley and him had nearly identical production levels in college; Bagley played in a tougher conference, and showed more talent and ability away from the basket than Ayton which is big for the NBA game. I understand people having a preference but zero chance "it's not even close" as you put it.

If Ayton played at Duke and Bagley at UofA, this wouldn’t even be a discussion.

 

Those that really watched Ayton this year know how special the kid is. Half the country asleep when he played.

 

And one might ask why UofA didn’t do better if he’s so good? Two words. Sean Miller.
