Long time Vegas resident and insider Fish Head has graciously agreed to provide TGF with video glimpses into what he is up to from time to time. Love him, Hate him or like him, there is no dispute that Fish Head is known far and wide as the man in the know when it comes to promos in Vegas. We think this thread will be not only entertaining but informative. We are all here to kick back and enjoy the fellowship, this thread will be a great place to do so. We ask poster please keep it respectful. Enjoy

Jimmy, I plan on being their opening day/night......had a tour of the inside last week and will certainly be beautiful, not anticipating any type of good gaming gaming, but often times casino grand openings make mistakes on the gaming front, you can bet there will be many pros in attendance.................the huge negative is the massive crowds these openings present.

I was considering staying there when I go to Vegas in a few weeks.

What do you think of the place, Fish?

About the vids: Tropicana is a useful street for sports bettors. Coast (at Orleans), Stations (at WWW), MGM (at Excal--bit easier in and out than at MGM itself), Cantor (at the Trop) and WH (at Hooters) is a fairly easy drive.

Other main circuit of mine is to be playing at the V (Cantor), then walking (driving this route isn't going to save you time or, even, walking) to the Wynn, TI, Caesar's (at Harrah's) and MGM (at the Mirage). I can get to these places without giving up my seat in a poker game. I can do that and run over to the LVH, too, but that's pushing it.

I'm only half local to Vegas, The real betgrinders in town have their routes and even parking spots well thought out. I well remember driving a local betgrinder around once and I thought I knew exactly how to get where we were going. He said something like, "No, turn here, then .. here," and I said, "That saves you, what, 30 seconds maybe?" and he said, "Yep."

They care about such things, and they're right to care.

FH is one of the all-time top forum posters. Huge catch for you guys. .

TGF was very lucky indeed.

I think over time this thread will be a unique combination of very +EV info, useful tips, and pure entertainment.

What more could anyone ask for.
