No state is anywhere close to 50% black.

South Carolina is 68% WHITE

No shit, but over 50% of dem primary voters are are black. That;s why the results of that primary just dont mean much when it comes to the rest of the country. If biden squeeks out a win there it wont mean he's gonna perform elsewhere.

Found this  on demographics of the sc dem primary.

Thirty-five percent of South Carolinians surveyed identified as white, versus 62% who identified as black, the poll said, putting its sample in line with the electorate expected to participate in the upcoming primary.

for years, black Americans have cast about 1 out of 4 votes in Democratic primaries. In 2016, they cast 71% of Democratic primary votes in Mississippi, 61% in South Carolina, 54% in Alabama, 51% in Georgia, 46% in Maryland, 32% in North Carolina and Tennessee, and 20 to 28% in Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Virginia, New York, Michigan, Missouri and Ohio.

Results delayed. Impressive. Meanwhile cnn has this

Trump wins the Iowa Republican caucuses, CNN projects

Tough call there

Here in Mn for the first time you have to declare what ballot you want in the primary - thus outing you as either a dem or rep, since trump is the only name on the ballot it would be stupid to go vote in our primary.

You have to understand dem voters are fucked up, in iowa they have to assemble in groups, count, then the ones not viable(15%) have to disperse to other candidates(if they want), then they recount again. so you have hundreds of people wandering around with losers in charge.

It's also possible right now the party is covering for bidens bad performance.

ive always lived in a real state, so ive never done this. but it actually sounds fun.

they should fire up some grills and have BYOB and turn it into a whole social event.

results still pending due to glitches in the reporting system. looks to be between pete and bernie. pete already declaring victory, though hes trading at 35% still.

overall i prefer a pete win here, but i loaded up on bernie in november at very good numbers, so will still make at least a few K.

of course id really prefer amy to pull off a miracle. but that looks very unlikely now.

Bernie's people put out actual results from about 40% of the state, it showed Bernie with 28%, pete 20, warren 19, klobachar 11, biden with about 13 - 4th place. Terrible for him.
