MonkeyF0cker
I love your Patrick and Michelle Bets. I have some Patrick. No place I currently have has Michelle. DSI did, and I tried to bet it. I think it was about 150-1. But it wouldn't accept, and when I refreshed it was gone. When/If it comes back at 100-1 or more, I'll probably bet some.Predictit has odds on Obama, Clinton, etc. Might be a better out than a bunch of Euro books that you probably don't have access to. tailsyoulose
heres a better chart of odds for patrick nom - area in green box is just me hitting it down for 5 euro at a time at 300.0 for a couple months:
tailsyoulose
Gonna bump to 27 mill. dont think youll be able to get that much, honestly, but good luck if you go for it. took me a couple months just to build this position up, and a large chunk was at 100-1 right when he announced. not a whole lot of liquidity out there at the moment. (nominee) (president) id make deval about even money against orange in the general (he and obama are the only ones id give more than a 20% chance to), so after converting EUR to USD, this amounts to about 4M. happy to have that as a home run option - i like to gamble - but realistically, i know its unlikely. but hey it beats losing 100k on a south korean basketball total. still betting on a biden comeback though. I have a Predictit account evidently, that I must have set up a while ago, but never funded because I wasn't interested in using my credit card to fund, and it seems like that's the only way. Happy enough with the scalps I can get with the Books I use.

tailsyoulose
Last i checked predict it had like $100 limits What do they matter depends - i think the rule is you can only have an $800 liability. if youre betting something at 90c, thats peanuts, but if you like someone at 2c, you can buy 40k 'shares' which will cost you 800 to pay out 40k. so limits are reasonable if you like someone at long odds. otherwise, stick to betfair and maybe bookmaker/5d. plus, you can sell your 'shares' and make money off the equity - buying 40k shares at 2c and selling at 10c can make you a decent amount. Machiavelli
Bernie Sanders did not just win the Democratic Nomination tonight... He won the Presidency.
Colonel Lingus
Understand. Made some real nice intrade scores in 08 and 12 - have couple nice war stories there. One involving what sounds like the romney camp placing wagers in summer of 12 to game the markets which is the reason .gov shut them down imo. I was like a hoover vaccuum there at one point. Good times

Machiavelli
MUSHIAVELLI HAS SPOKEN. time to fade bernie! My voting record: Bush/Bush/Obama/Obama/Trump all winners. Not quite sure if I am going to fill in the ballot on Bernie or not.....but he's winning. And taking Arizona.

Machiavelli
Yeah he did He beleives what he is saying Usa is too smart to buy it tho Well that's the game.. People tend to go with those who are strong and convincing in how they are. Bernie's advantage is 3 fold: -Draws starkest contrast with Trump-Seemingly has 'the energy of the people' on his side-Too much self interest in people to get health care/student debt settled once and for all President Trump and the Republicans will be strong af in the General when it comes to labeling him as Socialist and fighting Socialism----as well as about the need to keep the economy strong and have a strong foundation for our Republic. But....in a 50/50 venture, Sanders has more keys on his side to tilt the game in his favor.

Colonel Lingus
I just dont think its a fair playing field The dem parrty is a private corporation. A corrupt one at that. I dont think bernie will be the candidate. It would not break my heart lif he is and he beats orange. Other then me being out a ton of money - he'll find the swamp is much too deep lto take on like trump has.
theguesser
hahaha fair enough And I concede I get hyped and speak with hyperbole, but... He wiped the floor with all of them tonight. Huh? He was at best 3rd. He was fine, and as the frontrunner, benefitted from Bloomy being there and being a pathetic punching bag. As the dominant frontrunner, all he had to do was do no harm, or have no harm done to him, and he did that. But wiped the Floor? Hardly. Mayor Pete and Lizzie were absolutely outstanding. I was watching it with a mix of Bernie and Liz people. No one thought Bernie won.

Machiavelli
Did think Warren had her best night. But she's likely Sanders' VP at best. Just how I see it. Could easily be wrong..
