Most european countries have fairly substantial reserves of gas, if the pipeline shut off they would run out quick. As far as the US sanctions go - we are almost completely dependent on russia for all kinds of minerals, including rare earths that we cant get anywhere else in quantity - and that's mostly china. if the russians retaliate(and why wouldn't they) we will suffer as much as they will. The next story was the Ahmaud Arbery trial update and how the defendants were all convicted again. That story is old but it was worthy of 3x the air time of what’s going on right now to make everybody’s life worse. The media always does this. Election year….let’s create racial stories. Midterms and our president is viewed as the worst in history already….lets focus on race again.
