Lets run this down again, Iran has been "suffering" under US and european sanctions for decades, we still threaten them constantly, their one and only product of great value(oil) is difficult to sell because of these sanctions. Meanwhile russia has been helping Iran to varying degrees for a long, long time - including in syria where Iran has great interests. Do you really think there's 1 chance in a million they would side with us? I'll give you a little tip when it comes to international relations - if you want to have friends you have to be friendly. We are not. We have got our way through bullying and threats for 50 years or more, those days are ending, It's no surprise that our enemies dont take our side is it?
