We know it's tucked, Julio Goldmann!  He was just wondering if he could take a shortcut and maybe tuck the new stuff under without having to remove it all.

Fuck off Sanchez Weinstein.  You can tuck it if you want it to look like shit or the gap on the floor is as wide as your asshole.

Some people use an oscillating saw to remove a bit off the trim and then tuck it in,I found it easier to just remove and reinstall

I have trim from the carpeted room next to it meeting up with it, if I remove and then reset the trim, considering the new flooring might add maybe a qtr to 3/8ths of an inch, how do you deal with that?

Never installed that new vinyl but I imagine if you put an underlay on first you could, laminate or hardwood is the way to go IMO.

U tube seems to imply vinyl is better than laminate because it's waterproof, this would be a kitchen so there would be some spills over time.

I see prices of maybe $2-3 sq foot, my kitchen is only 10 by 10 if you take out the cabinets, $2-300 for a new kitchen floor seems like nothing.

It's bigger than that but I'm factoring out the cabinet/counter areas, that shrinks the sq footage. But yea, it's not a mansion, still worth maybe $400K.
