Doesnt matter that people that feel they are giving up the best keepers say they are giving up more so doesnt matter what others think. Guys plan their draft, their trades etc all around the keeper league angle. Last year is COMPLETELY different if everyone knew keeps were gone. Maybe same team wins who knows but moves would have been drastically diff IDK that im gonna threaten to be out like most here if the decision/vote doesnt go my way, but i do think its a little f'd up to make that choice halfway (even later) through a keeper season. Thats a pre-season decision and then everyone plays out the year with that knowledge. IMO Pal if we say we're not starting over until next year then this season will be brutal. Wait until teams are eliminated from playoff contention midway through season and they can't even trade for keeps for following season because we're going to reset. Ridiculous you don't lose the draft pick for the round your keeper was taken. Wait until teams are eliminated from playoff contention midway through season and they can't even trade for keeps for following season because we're going to reset. Half the teams won't be setting lineups OK and changing to no keepers this year changes that how? Every league that goes year to year has that happen And its no different than every year we have even with keepers where guys that are out of it stop caring and stop making moves. We have issues with joey or other setting/not setting their lineup every year. And being a keeper league doesnt make owners set lineups and stay engaged late in the year. 1) we have a trade deadline that is early enough, still a ton of weeks after the deadline that present the same issue, and 2) you dont need to set your lineup well to make keeper trades. And its not only trading for keeps, its the draft. Last years draft goes completely differently if no keepers are involved as there is much less emphasis on drafting young guys.
