I want a quarter million dollar slush fund. Strike that. I just looked up the official definition of slush fund. I just want an extra 250 K I don't have to worry about.

I'm sure more than half of the world's population doesn't use the CAD or a number of other currencies either.  That doesn't mean that it's worthless.

The gambling industry itself (among others) is perfect for cryptos.

All currency is only worth the breadth of it's utility.. Comparing any common currency to a chain based currency is a waste of time.

It seems we are caught in the wagering ẃorld with little regard to the big picture

Deem where were you when LeBrick became one of the all time finals losers ?

George, unlike many on the forum, Deemer is here for through the thick and thin.

He had quite possibly the best finals ever. It didn't matter as the outcome indicated. He should have won the MVP. But, if you ask the media or TGF he's off to LA in 2 years anyway!

I think the problem has been all these btc neewbies. They saw a 200-300 drop and now the sky is falling off and they are in a rush to sale. Once we get rid of all these rookies the price should at least stop coming down.

once you get rid of the rookies the demand drops

BTC has no measurable volatility and it's valuation is still over influenced by it's ease of utility rather than it's completely unpredictable store of value. Completely blind speculation will always be easily manipulable and have huge variance with little or no predictability.

George if you wanted to liquidate, say 25 m in BTC in an instant, how would you do so without affecting it's value?
