I get your point but we are far too evolved to compare ourselves to what animals do in the wild. We are all human, theres no difference between me and some guy born in Pakistan or Japan or South Africa or Finland. We just happened to enter the world in a different part of the planet. I have vastly different beliefs than a lot of my best friends. I, quite clearly, am a strong liberal believer. My two best friends typically vote conservative here (not as conservative of a party as the US GOP, but still far from the libs). My best friend from work is a HUGE trump fan and was ecstatic all day today wanting to talk trump with anyone that would listen. I couldnt disagree with his view more, but i have tons of respect for him as a man and know his differing thoughts come from a good place. So just cause some see the world differently or look is not close to the same as them being a different species. Just because a lot of people live in certain areas doesn't mean their votes shouldn't count the same IMO. I think the electoral college actually suppresses the American vote A LOT. People in guaranteed red and blue states aren't going to go out and vote as much because they feel their vote doesn't count. Remove the electoral college, use a popular vote, and you will see a much bigger turnout IMO. Everyone's vote should be equal.
