roachman
Worst than the SB call
BarryRunSome
I actually loved the call to go for 2 If you kick the extra point you're up 8 If New England scores they go for 2. They are so well coached they probably have a play that is an AUTOMATIC successful 2pt conversion If Seattle gets the 2 point conversion, they're up 9 and the game is basically over. I like the call
roachman
Now sea can lose by 10 in OT
jam
No action on this game but I'm cheering for the Pats now to see Carroll get grilled by the media after. That, and I hate Sherman.
BarryRunSome
Now sea can lose by 10 in OTImpossible to lose by 10 9 is the max. team kicks FG, you throw pick 6 they wouldn't kick the PAT And the chances the intercepting player runs it back for a TD is NIL
roachman
It happen before I lost by
trytrytry
The moron MN gopher coach did that earlier this year too towards the end like that. omg what a fool. I like the idea MAYBE to do it line up for it sort of come out of the PAT attempt. maybe get the other team to use a time out in a mini panic. but dont run a damn play. so stupid. tripp
I liked it honestly. You get it games over, you dont still up 7 and they need a td plus the now not auto PAT to tie you. Plus theyve had their issues with short kicks lately anyways so no guarantee that goes through Id guess math supports Petes choice

TommyL
It happen before I lost by 9 In an NFL game? I'm almost positive that it hasn't happened since the NFL switched OT rules.
gijoe066
Same thing with PGH. I shake my head at these coaches. You would think he learned his lesson from the stupid call in the SUPER BOWL. I HAD THE ML and wanted to punch my tv when he made that call

Viejo Dinosaur
You will see more of this in future NFL games ....
Gabe
I can see both sides. Pretty much ice the game if he makes it. Chances are 99% after success. Up 8, ne can score and 2pt convert is like 60%
Deemer
Math doesn't factor SEA D They can stop a 2 pt conversion easily. Retarded move
Dingo
Math doesn't factor SEA D They can stop a 2 pt conversion easily. Retarded moveYour the Tard We were talking about when the Seahawks when for 2 up by 7 Pure percentage playNot a situational play
Deemer
Everything is situational. They kick the XP they're up 8 and force NE td and 2pt What's hard to understand?
Deemer
If anyone thinks NE is 75%+ to get a 2Pt conversion they're a dullard
Sol Aristatel
Im sure when the math models are fired up and all the variables are included, you will see this is close to a 50/50 call. So what it comes down to is a feel for the game. Or a coaches "gut instinct ".
FairWarning
Everything is situational. They kick the XP they're up 8 and force NE td and 2pt What's hard to understand?Exactly. The worst NE can do is tie then. By going for 2 and failing on 7, NE can win.
