As mentioned it is also common here to have big groups of people for the receptions etc so it helps to feed all of them without costing a ridiculous amount of money that many down here couldn't afford anyway. We also often have dishes such as Jambalaya which stretch far and are def more cost effective. Brought it with us to Miami so we could take some family photos in Marlins Park without bothering anyone. Selfie sticks not allowed inside stadium. Neither wife nor I interested in walking all the way back to return it to the car. I then proceeded to throw it in the trash. RIP Diablo selfie stick.
