I agree

on the flip side I have witnessed first hand players being treated IMO unfairly when they threaten to do that.

book just says, fuck it..................... moves on

The interesting thing about this wonderful world of offshore betting is that when there exist forums and other venues that officially rate sportsbooks, and where those ratings are higher if the books pay for said rating, it gives the forum an incentive to persuade the offending sportsbook to do the right thing so everyone can save face.

I really wonder if there is a more bizarre market in the world than offshore betting.

that is one of the reasons we have zero affiliate deals

TGF makes no more or less if players deposit at a banner book.

now common sense tells us if a book sees no return on investment they will terminate banner deal.

but to an extent we don't have a dog in the fight when a player deposits

BBB

TGF is the leader in the offshore forum world, excellent crew here. No need to pay a bald guy from Jersey $1500/month to drive traffic.

lol

naw we have dropped the ball to an extent.

hopefully we can pick it back up and run with it

I differ from many if not most that I think when sports wagering becomes legal in the USA it will HELP forums and even the off shore books.

Just hope TGF can be around for when that day happens

TGF may be around but none of us will be alive when that happens.

Legal sports wagering in the USA will be a complete joke when it occurs, and be that way for quite awhile.

I agree

and that is in part why I think it will help off shore

we differ on that one.

just AXING

whose money has been taken by Mania?

has there been a rash of problems?

If so I haven't heard of them.

Post them here or feel free to PM them to any TGF Mod and we will try and help.

Heck I didn't even know it was happening.

or

maybe it hasn't, and people just like to bitch.

I don't know.

I realize we are talking about an honest book here.  But, these rules get used at many smaller books.

Just having rules that state the book CAN confiscate winnings and deposits IF the book decides to label you as a professional is wrong.  Maybe this book hasn't done it yet, but others have.  And, this one might start to do it if it gets in financial trouble.

I have not made deposits in the past when books have had this rule and I was not already sure about the safety of funds at said book.

I disagree rito. If it becomes legal in the US, presumably betting offshore becomes legal too, in which case payment processing to offshore becomes a lot easier. Offshore books could advertise in the US. Offshore already tops Vegas books in terms of the variety of markets they offer as well as in promos.

Vegas books are worse than offshore books in almost every way except for ease of payment processing and safety. With legalization, the edge in payment processing shrinks by a lot, and safety is already a non-issue at the top offshore places.

They pretty much all have these types of rules. The rules don't matter. At the end of the day the only thing stopping them from stiffing is reputation and the fear of cooling new deposits.
