MonkeyF0cker
I am batting 1,000%. In fact, I have been far too pessimistic. This is beyond my wildest dreams and people thought I was nuts. You are nuts. Especially if you think you've ever been right about any of it. MonkeyF0cker
I have been following along and making the predictions. I know what the score is.Uh huh. Will Hill gonna suddenly change into accepting full limit wagers from every sharp on the planet. Just ask the dumbfuck scorekeeper.
Always Call Heads
Uh huh. Will Hill gonna suddenly change into accepting wagers from every sharp on the planet. Just ask the dumbfuck scorekeeper. My projection all along has been that Will Hill would be first entry into New Jersey and dominate model. The first casino in any state is not going to open up and start taking professional bets. They are going to use a Will Hill model and expand off of it. MonkeyF0cker
Yes. Will Hill will pave the way for hedge fund entry into professional sports betting in NJ. You're about as bright as a black hole.
Always Call Heads
Yes. Will Hill will pave the way for hedge fund entry into professional sports betting in NJ. You're about as bright as a black hole.Correct. First, you establish profitability and a wide customer base and then you expand your product further. MonkeyF0cker
I haven't seen Will Hill "develop" in Nevada or Europe at all before. This time will be different though! It's New Jersey! LMAO. Thanks for the lesson.

Thanks for the lesson. No, Will Hill is not going to develop. It is what it is. The market will develop. The Will Hills are the first entry. I have said that a complete unknown will ultimately become a major player and said DraftKings had the opportunity to become the biggest player in the market. They have not played their hand all that well but are pretty big in New Jersey. They definitely have the potential of coming away with it. MonkeyF0cker
Right. The market will develop just like in Nevada where it has consolidated instead with largely the same players involved. You're dumb enough to think that New Jersey is special though. Bfo
I’m not going to bother repeating myself (in totality at least) for the 10th time, but sports betting being legalized in other states will have almost no effect on Las Vegas. Every book director has said that greater exposure will result in increased handle, and so far they have been proven correct. This will only continue. As far as there being any kind of drop in tourism to Las Vegas this has so far and will continue to be a laughable premise at best. Literally no one comes to Las Vegas to just bet on sports. They come for the shows, restaurants, shopping, and clubs. Most of these other states can’t offer anything resembling the Las Vegas experience as a true destination spot with these amenities. Record tourism has been forecast for the coming year, and nothing the expansion of sports betting can offer would make even a blip on the radar screen. We saw the exact same thing with the online poker boom. Poker rooms in Vegas were never busier.

You said Las Vegas would be irrelevant to sports betting. When New Jersey is bigger than Nevada, it will be well on its way to being irrelevant. In 5 years when sports gambling is taking place in half the states in the country if not more, Nevada will have little relevance. Maybe you will still be able to bet professionally there. Highly unlikely though that New Jersey will not offer more than Nevada at some point in the future and when it does not really any reason for Nevada to be around outside of taking Nevada bets. When it comes to things outside of sports betting, I could care less. My interest is only in the sports betting angle.

I could see the Wire Act being eliminated in the future. There is already a lot of carping about how gambling laws are outdated and need updating. If that happens, the Wire Act will definitely be in play. Even if it isn't, the hubs are going to be where the money is and that is not going to be Vegas.
