Guest boatboatboat
We all hear from players when a book stiffs them. Would the response be good or bad if books were to have a place on a forum where they could post the forum name if they have it as well as the persons real name of people who have submitted charge backs? Would the community feel that was a breach of privacy and improper? Honest question
Guest boatboatboat
kinda like in some small town stores by the check out they have a list posted of people who gave them bad checks

Yanks
Not neccesary. The books use a company that shares all the info between eachother. Posting their forum name is fine.
ted sheckler
People name books that stiff them to let other posters know that some shady things may be going on with that book. Why would the posters need to know the names of other posters that did chargebacks? What does that help?
Guest boatboatboat
I'm not sure? I know I am working on a communication that is distributed among books of people who have done charge backs in the last 12 mths. The names on the list would be quite revealing

Yanks
and that data base is way out of date I thought it was up to date. But the books have to pay monthly..
HRWager
Not really. That database is top of the line technology but it is very expensive as well so not many books use it. However if you go on the list you wont be able to use your card again. If you logged in using your friends IPAD, even if on a different IP, your friend will be out of luck as well. This database does not only cover chargebacks but bonus scam groups as well. For those of you not know familiar with it, its called Iovation. and that data base is way out of date
WVU
We all hear from players when a book stiffs them. Would the response be good or bad if books were to have a place on a forum where they could post the forum name if they have it as well as the persons real name of people who have submitted charge backs? Would the community feel that was a breach of privacy and improper? Honest question How would they know the forum name matches the real name unless the forum owners shared some personal info and vice versa? I would agree to them posting real names as long as forum members get to know the real names of the sports book owners and forum owners which isn't going to happen. So my real answer is neither the forums nor the books have a right to share anyone's personal information. Yes that is a breach of privacy. Guest boatboatboat
Think its a good idea.Like Creditwagering had Always was fun to see a forum poster show up one (of many) concerns is a player/person has a dispute with book and the book storms in and post JOE SMITH IS A CROOK AND DID blah blah blah, when Joe Smith didn't due a thing wrong. Not cool.......... by the same token its pretty damn SHADY to say "oh your casino is rigged, I am charging back my last deposit that I played with in the casino as well as the previous one Iost on sports" People suck........ Guest 1VICE
What about handicappers and other sports gambling related websites? If they steal from sportsbooks they would certainly steal from the buddies on the forums right?
StayGolden
what is the point? does OUR community no good. big difference between an individual player charging back and a book stealing from everyone.

Guest boatboatboat
what is the point? does OUR community no good. big difference between an individual player charging back and a book stealing from everyone. the HOPE would be that it would reduce it which in the LONG run most certainly WOULD do our community good. But again, not sure the good out weighs the bad. Simply wanted to open the discussion. Hate to see books yank deposit methods due to the risk/reward ratio

milwaukee mike
when a book stiffs we don't get the actual person's name this would be a slippery slope so i say it's improper... sometimes we never know the whole story... let's say landers used my name on a transaction and did a chargeback. now my name would be out there as a crook when i did nothing wrong?
