mikeman
He might be exempt as a plumber, the point is it's insane, everyone should "TRY" to stop the spread as best they can, but you cant commit economic suicide chasing an unachievable goal. FairWarning
Guess what, orange county just banned all private and public gatherings, including work. So no one can work, it's like a national suicide. Pure idiocy. they will never be able to stop doing this, since cases will still rise. i dont think they even have a lot of cases. That shouldn’t affect Railbird. It matters less and less each day however, the numbers are so large, a few here and there dont really matter. 2 weeks ago the daily total was 34, 1 week ago it was 307, today is almost 2900. I shudder to think what the daily total will be next wed. As i mentioned these numbers are not getting better anytime soon, so these crazy politicians are going to go berzerk with their saving the world BS. I hope it keeps increasing exponentially for a while yet. If it doesn't, we're quarantining for nothing. Because when the quarantines end, all of the healthy will start getting sick. Because when the quarantines end, all of the healthy will start getting sick. That's the goal, a fact people are missing, the goal is to get people sick in waves, not all at once. Each wave being manageable while also building herd immunity. If this works we will peak in 3 weeks, plateau for a bit, then as it declines we unwind and do it all over again.(hopefully without the lockdowns)

theguesser
CVS was loaded with paper products tonight. Starting to see masks finally in the neighborhood. Unfortunately the 2 Chinese restaurants nearest me closed down for a while, and one of the pizza places closes early. Other restaurants still open, and food trucks still operating.
