Ukraine has a large army group in the East near Doneck, they build the defensive fortifications for 8 years. DNR troops having hard time with them and that is slowing whole front down. So the decision is being made to destroy eastern army group . Soldiers will get 3-5 days rest and then we should see some major fireworks. Yup, their goal around liev was always to distract the ukranian army and force them to divide their forces, I expect the russians to take pretty much everything from Kharkiv south and east of the dneiper along with odessa, that would basically cripple ukraine economically.
