You could have dumped a bucket of drywall mud on floor then sat tub on it and leveled it. Easy peasy. Only a rookie would even think about spray foam.

Especially if you haven’t used it much, that stuff always expands more than you think it will.At least with door jams you can cut off the excess

leaking from the plumbing in the back too

a day after i sealed off all the fixtures

Better to check for leaks after 24 hours  before doing finish work

Lets review tips

Tip # 1 Was use a level when setting tub.

Tip # 2 Fill the tub with water when you caulk around the edge that meets tile. Leave water in for 24 hours ,then drain

This will prevent caulking from ever cracking.

Tip # 3 While waiting for caulk to cure. Re check all plumbing connections for leaks.

Where on your tip list does it say to place cement blocks and other heavy objects in the tub to hopefully compensate for the failure to do it right to begin with?  :pop

Textured ceilings are an outdated look, only reason to use would be to hide imperfections. You might be the only person I know that does renovations and decrease the value of the home

$750 mistake on that tub but overall doing big things

Stop exaggerating, it's a $100-150 mistake, not that bad. Unless if you messed other stuff up you're not mentioning.
