Yeah, she had gone to Florida often, it was just NC that she had never been to.

It's something else.

I think it's most common in either the deep country or the inner city. People just stay in their little communities and don't want to step outside them. I've heard of people being lifelong residents of NYC that never ventured further than Jersey

I get it if you live in the cities and rely on public transportation. 
 

I don’t see myself doing much traveling in the foreseeable future.
