Pound alcohol and caffeine pretty much every day but have never taken a prescription pill in my life. Did coke a few times in my early 20's, and was a daily weed smoker for years in my 30's, but was always scared shitless of the pills after seeing how it affected friends. If legalized in Nevada will almost definitely become a daily smoker again. Obviously easy enough to get now, but something about sampling multiple marijuana types with exotic names all there for my choosing appeals to me. It will help me cut down on the drinking as well, getting too old to drink as much as I do.The experience of being able to go to a shop and pick between 20 strains, dozens of concentrates, and 100s of different edibles is a blast. I have an aunt in her early 60s who I finally convinced to get s script and she called me after her first trip like a kid going to Disneyland for the first time. Was like a kid in a candy store, had never had edibles, concentrates, or any of that stuff. Can't get enough of it and has never been happier. I see myself being the same way. If anything will probably cut down on the hard alcohol, and help to cleanse my liver. I'd prefer to relive the latter 50 days in a row than go through Xanax withdrawal again. At least when I got my head kicked in I got to knock one guy out first. My insurance guy told me that the only reason to use the exchange would be for the subsidy, and at that time I wouldn't qualify for much if at all. At that time the website was a mess and I didn't fully understand how the exchanges worked. He gave me some other explanation about if there was a problem, not having an agent to work through it and it sounded reasonable at the time. Obviously he was just trying to sell me a policy. My main point was that I had applied for insurance when my group plan terminated, and was denied by one company for pre-existing and the other gave me outrageous quote. Fortunately the time was right when OC started,so I got the individual plan, as they couldn't deny for PEC, but it still costs me $500 per month.
