High schoolers much quicker than after years of college.

Not sure what I believe more...

4.5 40yd

or

5'9 140 with fingers of a 220lber

I'd just chalk up it up to stories as usual for the guy

I've never weighed over 190 pounds in my life (even when I was a fat ass for 2 years). I'm about 165 now. But whatever works for you.

timely, that guy in the prom pick was not fast.  Even an untrained eye can point that out.

warren Sapp didn't look quick.

The last time I ran a 40 was a challenge from an 8th grader about 7 years ago. He played on the jr high football team and the kids told me he was the fastest kid on the team. I made a comment in class I could beat him. So he said let's go. I told him give me a couple weeks to get in some sort of sprinting shape. So a couple weeks later it was on.

We were neck and neck 30 yards in. Then it happened. My athletic mortality became a reality. Severely pulled hammy. Had never pulled a muscle in my life.

Haven't tried the forty since.

so at age 50 you could run with the fastest 8th grader in your school system for 30 yards

Haha. No. I was 34 at the time. Im guessing the kid was 4.9-5.0 range fast. Small private school. So it wasn't a huge talent pool to choose from.

plus running shoes weren't what they are now back in that time
