yisman
when I posted, the Yankees weren't what I considered to be a lock to make it, although they of course had a few games lead. Large cluster of teams within striking distance things may have changed
trytrytry
Twins for 7 bucks and Brewers for 2 bucks look good thanks for the sept 3rd mush on the Brewers. appreciated
yisman
AL wild card remains wide open Yankees are not in yet, they're only 2.5 ahead of Minnesota and 3.5 ahead of Anaheim. If they get cold, they miss the playoffs. NL is Arizona hosting COL/MIL/STL

Sol Aristatel
NL is Arizona hosting COL/MIL/STL I'll be at that game. Never been to a MLB playoff game. Bucket list check off...
po69
St Louis is finally starting to play well. It would be real nice if they could win the division. And I have become a huge fan of the Twins since I bought them in the auction. They could sneak into the playoffs. Even if neither make the playoffs, it has been fun watching them down the stretch
rjt
AL wild card remains wide open Yankees are not in yet, they're only 2.5 ahead of Minnesota and 3.5 ahead of Anaheim. If they get cold, they miss the playoffs. NL is Arizona hosting COL/MIL/STL Would take a big collapse for Yankees to miss. 4 game lead over Angels. Fangraphs gives them over 93% chance to make playoffs $125 still horrible price for a team which will likely be hosting WC game. Didn't even want Yanks in auction. Made that bid days before auction ended figuring there would be a lot more money in pool than we ended up with
Teddy kgb
I've never bid before until this time, don't understand why the bidding ends so early, figure if you let it go and all the hot teams cool off and the sleepers show up you probably end up with a 10k pot........probably something I'm missing

rjt
There shouldn't be a second WC in AL. All those teams are horrible. Just let Yankees go through to ALDS

The teams that people were bidding on 6 weeks ago like Texas won't draw any more, but Milwaukee and the Angels now get the action.
rjt
Angels have like a 20% chance of winning the 2nd WC and playing at the Yankees where they'll be +170. Not like anybody was going to bid 100 bucks on them if the auction closed later People could have just bid more. Most of the division winners were set weeks ago
