I love this

Guys who don't know the first fucking thing about driving, are telling me what brand to drive lol

For the record...

I drove a Kenworth with my mentor, brand new truck. I'll take my international any day over his.

Freightliners are the worst of the bunch.

I'll be going for a VOLVO on my upgrade time to mentor. Those are top of the line

Lol Class 8 expert

I worked for int'l for 5 yrs, kw 6 years, & f/l for 3 in a previous life ---i doubt if things have changed much.

Kw/peterbuilt is best

F/l in the middle

Int'l and volvo are shit boxes

Theres alot more to a truck then how good the tv is. Like durability,re-sale value, ease to work on etc

peterbilt not in the fleet, never see mack either.

The Volvo's are clearly the best

How did you stumble into this line of work?

it's great money and little change to what I do anyway.

Plus a class A CDL is extremely valuable

Didn't have any desire to sit at a desk anymore, that's got sure. No jagoff boss telling me what's what.

Regardless of the fact I haven't had a square job in 6 years, this was an interesting opportunity to do something I love anyway, and get paid for it.

You see the shit I do on a daily basis, you see me complaining? LOL

you can be "on duty" up to 70 hours a week

That almost never happens.

Cmon, that's not what I'm talking about, as was mentioned in those blogs people posted, if you're making $1700/week with relatively normal hrs, that's pretty good, if you're "putting in 70+"(not necessarilly on duty), that means you're making low 20's per hour and that's not very good in today's day and age.
