LIV Miami at Doral has been a great tournament and much better lead up test than the Valero.  Congrats to Akshay for running away with that one from day 1 though.

LIV definitely needs to play harder courses like this though than some of the ones that they’ve played so far this year.  I’ve seen Rahm, Brooks, DJ etc all get caught in the wind and hit approach shots that were off that rolled into the water, or got lucky and just stayed up.  At Augusta next week with those shaved ATG fairways they’re as good as toast.  At least Rahm knows he can stop just chipping like he’s been doing as his lead up to Augusta.

If LIV could make this their event every time it would be awesome.  They haven't shown that ability yet.  I expect Andalucia, and Nashville to be cool, but they need to recreate Adalaide every time if possible.  Singapore will probably be a dud.  All of the players love it.  Money of course, but they just seem to have fun playing here.  Plus everybody is just chasing Scottie at this point on the PGA.

Adilaide is an anomaly because australia is starved for "action", sorta like nebraska and the cornhuskers. but it is what it is - a good tourney. That one in saudi arabia where almost no one was there was really sad.

Liv should have adalaid, one in japan, maybe china, perhaps singapore or thailand, even india. Then 2-3 in europe and 5-6 in the US. I heard talk of south africa too, they'd be like australia since they would appreciate the event coming there.

They already had LIV Hong Kong this year.  I didn't watch a second of it, and don't recall it being awesome.  Nor did I ever watch the event the PGA players went and played before LIV on the Hong Kong tourney that paid out well for a mix of PGA/Eurotard.

Yeah South Africa would be a good spot.  They love their golf there, but I don't see it being like this.  Nashville should be a good spot for a crowd.  Hell I might drive up and go to that.

I love LIV because it isnt the PGA

PGA tour literally monopolized the game of golf

Remember Nike Tour, yea PGA bought that

Remember McKenzie Tour, yea PGA bought that

Remember Hooters Tour, yea PGA bankrupted them

There is NO developmental tour in USA now. You either make it to Korn Ferry or you are screwed

Funny how they came up with signature events that paid about 15 million dollars more than prior, and a 930 million dollar loyalty program.  Lol 150 of it right away went to Tiger who plays maybe 4x a year if lucky, and Rory.  Basically the older and longer you played, even if you’re washed up you get more than somebody who’s say 30 a star with a few wins and just hasn’t had to time to get their career winnings high enough.

Lol Rahm got like 600 million, and Brooks, Bryson, DJ, Cam about 100 million.  If they had stayed PGA they probably get 10 million outside of DJ based on this silly criteria.

Congrats Brooks for winning and now being a dad!  4 million in the bank.

His swing looked great this week on driving and irons.  Quite possibly the only man on the planet that can take down king ding a'ling Scottie at the PGA Championship and go toe to toe and say shot for shot "bitch you ain't shit".

Lol the eurotards like Poulter whined about the humidity all week.  Maybe not as fun as expected.  Brooks grew up in FL so not a shocker that it was nothing to him.

Haha due to this article my buddy told me from R2 on at the British that year that we were totally fucked on our DJ bets to win.

Never forget end of R2 "Darren needs to get the fuck out of here already."  R3 ending "FUCK it just had to be DARREN FUCKING CLARKE."  I thought we were in great shape with DJ.  "This man stared down Tiger in his prime for 36 holes of match play and said bitch you ain't shit.  Tiger was scrambling to his swing coach as to what he was doing wrong while Darren just drank and smoked cigs.  He ain't gonna give away a mothafucking thang.  He just straight up don't give a fuck."

Stayed up late watching the end, it was good, I didn't realize singapore is directly on the equator, I saw several of them sweating like pigs.
