Machiavelli
Liz Warren going to be Dem nominee. Warren/Buttigeig likely ticket.
theguesser
Liz Warren going to be Dem nominee. Warren/Buttigeig likely ticket.Winning Ticket. Mayor Pete will be a great Bottom of a Liz or Kamala ticket. As soon as Bernie drops out and supports Liz to stop Biden, Liz is the likely winner. Unless Kamala just wows at all the debates as they get closer together, and she doesn't have time to fade between them. But she might be out before that can happen. Mayor Pete or Castro the likeliest VP choices for any candidate.
Machiavelli
Was thinking Beto or possibly Yang, but seems like Mayor Pete for military, etc. But def think a lib/Dem/progressive compromise can have y'all coalescing around Warren. Plus, she's both sorta owed by establishment and has a Republican background to reconnect across the aisle if she can properly pivot. Of course not coming off as shrill is key for any woman, but at 70 with her somewhat youthful energy at times, that shouldn't be an issue. And she isn't overly dominant personality like Kamala --as men back off those types as well. Yep. Liz Warren. Can you envision President-elect Elizabeth Warren giving a unification election night speech?

Can you envision President-elect Elizabeth Warren giving a unification election night speech? the way she talks and gesticulates suggests mental instability and is very annoying. just a squeaky, shrill, tone that is both hostile and weak at the same time. she always sounds like a kindergarten teacher trying to lecture someone far above her pay grade. would blacks come out enthusiastically for a warren/mayor pete ticket? i highly doubt it. the only reason hillary stood a chance in 2016 is because of her dominance with black voters. but they cant stand warren. and they positively despise pete. Fair all around and I won't necessarily argue anything. I was looking at polls/betting odds and then browsing Warren's site/background. All seems to be adding up. I have gotten annoyed at her at times, but also think she can be the 'caring grandma' type and while that is not necessarily what we need, it can afford her the chance to connect with people on an instinctual level. Needs work, no doubt. But she's gotta be their choice. Can the others pivot? And I should note, I try and look at things outside of my own personal thoughts at times, and then other times as my Bush/Obama/Trumpness and then wondering what it'd take to get someone like me back over. As of now I am firmly President Trump, but do think there's a chance she can 'sell' the idea of rebuilding the middle class without full-scale socialism, but do think that's also a tough act. So we'll see.
tailsyoulose
Ideally I'd want Tulsi to win, but that ain't happening. Second to that I'd love to see Pete win the nomination, because he would get stomped in hilarious ways and lose embarrassingly. The ticket I'm most afraid of is Biden/Warren. Biden can lock down the black vote and keep Trump to single digits with them, and Warren placates the progressive/Bernie wing, while at the same time giving Dems something to circle jerk themselves to ('yay for wammin'). That ticket is probably the only one that could actually win for Dems.
Machiavelli
Tulsi could steal folks from all coalitions. But they're eliminating her chances early on here. Interesting you think Biden has the best chance. Just seems like he's falling apart lately.

Interesting you think Biden has the best chance. Just seems like he's falling apart lately. yeah, i agree he's falling apart. but he's untouchable among black voters - none of the current BS is gonna sway them one bit. he could have a stroke and be in the ICU in a vegetative state they'd still vote for him in droves. Interesting you think Biden has the best chance. Just seems like he's falling apart lately. She eliminated her own chance early on by being pro Russia and their helping steal the election, and therefore Pro Idiot, pro Syria, and Anti Democrat. There's a reason she's at <1% in the polls among D's, and has nothing to do with "they're trying to stop her". I actually had hopes for her early on, but she totally sabotaged herself. If you Cultists think she's in any way acceptable to Regular D's after dismissing the Mueller report, that's exactly the reason she's not. Lets face it, some people are likeable/relatable, and some are not. Hillary WAS NOT, no way of pussy footing around it, she was a person that the avg voter looks at, and dislikes. Is Warren different, I dont see it?
Machiavelli
So do you like her? Lets face it, some people are likeable/relatable, and some are not. Hillary WAS NOT, no way of pussy footing around it, she was a person that the avg voter looks at, and dislikes. Is Warren different, I dont see it? She's likable/relatable to a degree, and some on her background is nice. Again, I think she's stuck in that far left catering that has dems all unhinged, but I do see a chance/angle for her to pivot. I'd have easily dismissed her if you asked me this yesterday at this time, but did some looking last night after seeing polls/odds and it all started to hit me. Biden no energy, Kamala too dominant, Booker too goofy, Mayor Pete too not being given a chance.....etc... Only leaves Liz Warren. And she has some things that she can spin to her favor. Like it or not, Americans are highly susceptible to not only emotional appeals, but those who are 'authentic' by nature. She can even spin her shrillness as 'caring too much,' etc and folks will at least give her and her message a chance. So....if Dems can help her pivot some to center and not just cater to far left, there's a chance she is President-elect.
