C'mon

Bernie Sanders is a genius. Trump is incapable of comprehending him let alone responding.

You gonna beat Bernie in a debate with wandering, incomplete, unformulated, me me me sentences?

Or lies?

Bernie will eat the Turnip alive and the fact checkers will have what's left for dessert.

And it won't affect the base at all.

But every independent or Republican non base voter will have great fun with that show.

We'll talk at some point.

Because even if I end up voting Trump again, I see no way he can defeat what I am seeing out of Bernie in studying closely lately.

And I have been perfect on my Presidential voting record, too, so this may be first time I miss.

you've elected 7 different candidates so far including some that are not in the race.

Bernie counterpunching was effective:

But it is the tone of the debate that Bernie owns, not just the policy frame. Nobody can turn his fire on other candidates like the Vermont senator. When pushed hard on how he would pay for his new public healthcare system, Sanders accused his critics of being owned by healthcare CEOs. When pushed for his long-promised medical records, Sanders challenged his questioners to join him for pushups on the campaign trail.

Sanders doesn’t just dodge questions; he destroys the questioner. On those terms, the other angry candidates sounded like pale imitations of the angry old socialist.

I'm not sure pointing at the sky and screaming is answering the question, biden tried that and looked ridiculous.

Passion and the ability to command the tone and frame of an argument/position resonates with people.

I am very curious to see how President Trump acts when it's Bernie and him officially.

Easy for him to diss now, and he's been great at branding people.

But Bernie plays a diff game.

A transformative one.

Physically they would be such a contrast, Trump tall, fit, majestic, exuding strength, golden locks of hair, the total package. then you got old shriveled bernie, looking like he hasn't   showered in a week.

The first one is brutal. They ALL have corporate money. But Sanders can show he doesn't have a bunch of healthcare/Big Pharma money, so he calls them out.

Pound-for-pound and age-adjusted, he may beat them at many exercises.

Versus Biden and other Dems, he can run on Deep State, COrruption, etc.

Can't do that with Bernie.

Has to run against Socialism---and if you do watch that Speech, Bernie humanizes his form of Democratic Socialism to make people at least think it can be viable.

That's the race.

finally someone clarifies "socialism"

Democratic socialism. Not Marxist, not communism, not Socialist.

Now we need to get rid of the term socialist entirely.

Bernie is a Chartist. Mayor Pete is Third Way. Bloomberg is Idiot. Biden is Toast. Warren is a Native American.

That speech was a preview of how he'll define it in the General and it was effective/humanizing.

I'll certainly pay attention to Republican counterpoints, but I know the American people are going to vote for Bernie after this.

A social democrat winning the nomination or the White House would damage the financial markets, hurt business investment, and slow the underlying American economy.

What is a damaged market? One that is inflated in value by 35% on printed gifted money, not earnings, output and productivity and owned in majority by big finance funds (pensions, tax free), foreign entity, ETF or similar,

or

A market that is based on fair value that encourages true profit, individual investment, high productivity and taxable capital income.

How do you counter Bernie with lies, lookaways and rhetoric?

That is all they have pushed for 4 years.

If the guy can stand there and debate things that actually matter and policy that works for the entire country, my hat is off to him.

When 98% of your talking points have been outright lies, conspiracy theories, rhetoric or overglossed failures for 4 years how do you change?

Pandering to the same 28 million idiots who would believe you if you stood on stage and spoke in tongues does not prepare you for Bernie Sanders.

I am proud to announce that I have secured employment with the Michael Bloomberg campaign this morning.

I am being paid $2500.00 per month to send out social media posts about the candidate. I of course will be doing no such thing...

I don't use social media and even if I did I would never say anything complimentary about Bloomberg.

The campaign people didn't even ask for verification of my residency, party affiliation or even if I have social media accounts.

These people are throwing money around and I'm gladly accepting it.

I'll be emailing the Sanders campaign this afternoon and inquiring about a similar position.

I gotta make one basket on a basketball court against a guy the size of my leg to make 28k.

Top that fella.

Trump will have to attack the viability of Sanders' plans....as I think you are correct in a lot of what you are saying.

But all that does is make the race about Sanders' plans viability---and if/when Sanders makes the case that they can work, then he wins going away.

And when someone can only attack your plans and not present theirs, you win by default, too.

Now, I voted for Trump for many reasons, and I think my fellow "Obama to Trump" voters did as well, but while I do like a lot of what Trump has done, he still needs to put forth his own plans on Health Care, Student debt, etc.

IF Trump can make the case that Bernie's plans aren't viable AND that the Reps have ideas to do more big scale projects (including Infrastructure) then perhaps he gets another term.

And while Reps should appreciate that he got two Justices and all those Judges, those are already set....so now Trump needs to run on what else Reps can do.

I just think Bernie's appeal is stronger for the middle.....and he's the only Dem imo that can make his appeal

For my view, Trump wipes the floor with any Non-Bernie Dem, but when it comes to Trump v Bernie.........Sanders has the energy.
