50% of the country thinks unemployment went up and the stock market down during the last 8 years.

Most people think crime is at all time highs (not lows).

That is always frustrating to me

I can point out many things that have gotten worse the last 8 years.

But people seldom talk about them.

They say "well hell, we have all these terror  attacks all the time, the economy is horrible, no one has any money, there are no jobs, crime is way up"

What do you say to that person?

Was talking with a guy the other day at legion. Guns and shooting was the topic. over and Over and OVER all he wanted to discuss was the city of Chicago. Didn't want to discuss the other 99% of the countries population. He knew gun crimes and shootings were UP NATION WIDE............because he heard it was bad I chicago

Are you fking kidding me?

The republicans threw an 8 year temper tantrum?

Blocking legislation that they would normally be in favor of and that was good for the USA soley because Obama was for it.

completely different. That is their job. You didn't see us out in the streets everyday whining and breaking shit. This is the generation of participation trophies. They don't know how to lose.

He's not holding that office today. What do you not understand? The past is the past. We should learn from it, not use it as an excuse and out for all future failures and mistakes.

An excuse?  No.  The protests just become complete and utter bullshit.

There would have been no protests over HRC even though another alleged rapist would have resided in the White House and the sitting President would have played an active role in attempting to cover them up.

That's what you fail to understand.  Not me.

I see the hypocrisy all over the place.

The "protests" feed trumps base, it's a good thing as far as I'm concerned, it's like the black lives matter nonsense, the more they defile america, destroy property, act like animals, the better it is for the republicans...and trump.

It's one of the main reason he won. Remember Baltimore, Ferguson, Chicago. Remember the Mexicans waiving the Mexican flag and burning the American flag?

That's their job? To not show up for work and get nothing accomplished because they don't like the guy in office?

To reject a perfectly sound and reasonable SCOTUS nominee, not because they don't agree with him (because they did for the most part) but because they don't like the guy who appointed him?

I didn't realize it was their job to hold the country hostage for 8 years because they didn't like the President because he wasn't on their team. Blind partisanship is the biggest problem with the country currently; bipartisan issues are practically non-existent today. It's embarrassing.

Their job is to do what the people that elecected them tell then to do. They did a great job.

Their approval rating, during the tenure of Obama, was at an all-time low. How is that what the people wanted them to do?

Congress approval rating was 8% at one point, and 17% most recently. How can you possibly argue they did a great job or that most people approved?

Never once did obama reach out across the aisle to compromise with the republicans, now the nutcases in the media are wondering if trump will reach out to the dems...ahh, no chance.

Obama had both houses of congress his first two years and failed miserably, hopefully Trump wont miss this opportunity.

Weren't you a Bernie supporter?

Trump has already started the systemic destruction of everything someone like Bernie Sanders believes in.  Look at the appointments.

Yes.  I was a Bernie supporter.  I want crony capitalism out of Washington and he offered the best chance of that happening IMO.

Trump has a better chance of doing that than HRC would have.

HRC would have meant the status quo.

Even if it gets worse under Trump. it will become more pronounced and change will eventually happen to reverse it.

Yes.  Who gives a fuck about the exact same transgressions on the other side of the aisle?

Typical partisan dumbfuckery.

Just ignore those and focus on the ones that don't align with your politics.

And people wonder why middle class Americans get fucked.

-500 Balco read that and thought it was a new sub-group of the LGBT community.  Bunch of dum-dums.
