That is exactly why Trump say's he's going to renegotiate it, so that taxes/fees would be allowed. These things are going to happen whether you like it or not.

I can't wait till you idiots see the affects of this on the economy.

I guess it won't matter to you since you are used to buying rotten food.

Negotiations take two sides to agree. Trump isn't going to bully his way through negotiations.

Also, let's say they don't negotiate so tough guy Trump rips the deal up. Mexico loses it's biggest trading partner; we lose billions in goods from Mexico, that greatly reduce our costs in this country. So prices go up here - we are now paying more for things at a rate that doesn't match any form of increased wages. In turn, Mexico isn't producing as many goods so people are out jobs. The country begins to spiral, and poverty overcomes what is already a poorer nation. People begin to flee and flood the US because of the situation. The wall won't stop desperation, so illegal immigration goes up. So we take on more illegals, the costs in the country go up, and our taxes go up to support both the illegals and the forces in place to prevent the flood. Our COG's also goes up significantly; so the people of this country lose tax dollars, and their money buys less. Fun times.

This is all logically speaking though.

Actually, Trump is going to bully his way through these negotiations, that's what he does best.

Mexico will cave and will pay, in the end they will have no other choice, you guys are so naive.

That's called leverage

Mexico has plenty of leverage.

You how many US manufacturers import things from Mexico for goods produced in the USA?   You know where limes, avocados come from?

NAFTA benefits large US companies more than anyone else.

This isn't some fking contractor Trump can bully into not paying because the contractor can't afford the legal fees.

He has no leverage. I don't know what you don't understand. The benefits are felt by both sides, and are as harmful to us as it would be to them. Turn off the news and do some reading.

They're not paying for a wall and ripping up NAFTA would be terrible for people like you and me on a day to day basis from a strictly cost of goods perspective. It also would cost companies here $$ which in turns costs people jobs.

Trump cannot legal cancel NAFTA.. It is law. Executive Orders cannot repeal law.

We have plenty of Avacados in California and Florida. And if need be, Chile and Peru got em too.

Guacamole will live on. With or without Mexico.

I believe last year there was a huge thing in CA where avocado prices were going way up because the drought and the farmers were having trouble producing them because the cost.  Something like that.
