OK here is a question to ponder.  If none of this stuff ever happened would the Dems find someone to come forward and say it did anyway?  I would guess yes.

But you are pathetic. The Judge is very unpopular. Just like repealing Obamacare. Did the Repeal fail because the Dem's did something unfair, unethical?

Now keeping Merrick Garland seat open for over a year was wrong, unfair, and unethical. That's a Republicon trait not a Dem trait. Wise up!

I rule nothing out.

I ran in a relatively close social circle with the current GOP nominee for Minnesota Governor. I knew his roommates. I sat next to him in many classes. It was a small private College.

Today I read that in January someone had made a post on a Facebook page accusing him perving on a young boy or something. Turned out it was a smear campaign associated with rival Republican candidate.

The offending candidate apologized and claimed it was not the campaign itself. There is no way in the world I would’ve believed something like that because I knew him personally, but doesn’t take much to get rumors going, and things like this do happen.

Obama should've made a recess appointment.

I liked everything I learned about Garland. He was wronged.

But also by the Dems for not forcing the action and thinking they were just gonna coast to 2016 victory. They got played bad there.

Not really good clean fun. Guessing you dont have a wife or especially any daughters.

Going out and having a few drinks with a girl hoping to get lucky is good ole fun. Trying to get a girl drunk enough she will fuck you is a whole different story.

Latest accuser same as the old, AGAIN.

Not sure when it happened

Not reported to the police

Intoxicated to the point of being incapacitated.

But.........is sure it was him.

All of this in the eleventh hour, you can decide events by logic and reasoning and facts( my choice same as when gambling) or you can decide by feel or intuition( doesn't work especially in gambling).

have you ever seen any group running a train on anyone ever that wasn't in a movie?  Of course you haven't

I was at a high school party where a drunk girl had sex with a couple guys. It was't a group of guys standing in line outside a door. It was the first guy getting done then going and telling his buddy she's still in there. Go now.

After seeing some qoutes from Mark Judges book it is very believable that he and Kavanaugh would do something like that.

Exactly.

This has nothing to do with Feinstein. Kavanaugh is a lying scumbag. Plus Benedict Donald calls him a gem. Let's review. He called Mike Flynn a gem. He called Paul Manofort a gem. He called Michael Cohen a gem. He calls Putin a gem. He's calling Kim Jung Un a gem. He called President a gem. You get the point.

An illegitimate president who is under investigation for possible treason shouldn't be nominating Supreme Court Justices. Especially one that has had an epiphany and claims presidents are above the law.

This sounds believable.   Young boys lined up along the walls does not.

But you convienantly leave out the Republicons were Dereliction of their Duties. When you become a U.S. Senator you take an oath to the U.S. Constitution. The constitution says when a S.C. seat becomes vacant the sitting president nominates someone to fill the vacant seat. After the nomination the Senate is supposed to advise and consent by holding hearings. This didn't happen. Only one party is ignoring the oath they took.

I still don't know the excuse the Con's used in not honoring their oath. Just a terrible precedent and policy. What reasoning did they have to justify their actions?

Yes. I stated several times that Obama n them stuck to following the norms. And it ended up being to their own peril.

So it wasn't a convenient omission by any means....but more of a point that they should've been 'assholes' right back to the Reps who were being assholes then.

See.....I believed Obama had every right to lead in his vision by winning the Presidency and feel the same towards Trump. That doesn't mean I support or advocate them to have unchecked blanket power, but..........they should get more of their way than not.

And they used the 'Biden rule' for not confirming during a Pres election year.

That's been well established, too.

What is that rule? If there's a lame duck president it's ok to be dereliction of duty and disregard the Constitution? Biden never acted on his Biden rule. The Republicons did and are derelicts.

What I find interesting is they called Obama a lame duck eventhough he had over a full year left when the seat became vacant. Now the current seat has only been vacant for 3 months. And lookey here I see 3 or 5 lame duck Republicon Senators. These senators shouldn't even be voting. They're lame ducks! Simple put, most Republicons are POS's.

Lame Duck my ass!

Understandable and I don't hold anything against anyone calling them out on acting as such. I know I did not like it then.

But again, that's why President Obama should've acted in a recess appointment decision and explained to the American people that if the Senate isn't going to fulfill their duty to our country, then he was going to take a legal mechanism and act upon it.

I really believe that the Dems figured 2016 was a layup and did not want to energize the Reps by making such an appointment, but failing to deduce that the seat was going to be a rallying cry either way.

With all that said, I do like and want a more Conservative court who will strictly interpret our nation's laws because it is upon Congress to make the laws. That's why all this talk about Roe v Wade being threatened boggles me because if the Reps do find a way to get SCOTUS to overturn it, then if the people really want it back bad enough, they elect a Congress who will pass a law/Constitutional amendment with it fixed into law rather than a SCOTUS decision precedent.

But I think Roe is here to stay. The funding is prob the true fight to be had.

Let's hear Heartman's idea of a level playing field worldwide.  This should be very interesting

Worldwide Socialism is inevitable. It's going to happen. Here's why.

Moral evolution.

If you study the history of our species you will clearly find that we have evolved morally over the last 250k years.

Just 2000 years ago the Romans would nail people to wooden crosses lined up along the main roads coming into towns and villages

In the colosseum crowds would gather .to watch people get fed to lions or watch gladiators fight to the death.

Can you imagine that happening today?

We are kinder, more loving, more compassionate than our ancestors because of moral evolution. We are better people.

It will not stop. Go 500, 10,000, 100,000 years into the future. Those people will be better than us.

Fairness and equality will be much more important than it is now.

Moral evolution will continue as long as the human species continues.
