Ukraine isn't recapturing anything, they attacked one relatively small section of the front and made some progress, then for some unknown reason the russians decided to pull back all along the northeast front, basically back to the russian border. They really didn't fight at all, they just withdrew, the ukrainians didn't even attack in 80% of the occupied territories and the russians still left. Dont know why.

its a trap, they used similar tactics in Syria

they are baiting the Ukranians to gather in that area for a reason

this shit is gonna escalate even more... doesnt look good for midget Zelensky

Here's yesterdays russian strike on a ukrainian power plant, all part of encouraging their movement away from fossil fuels ans toward the green new deal..

5 Eastern Ukranian provinces without the power. Let's see how they will resoply their troops. Trains stopped. Well it's about time. Those Ukrainian troops in no men's land they already suffer innormous casulties in that counter over 4000 killed and wounded. Few videos on telegram of the columns of the ambulance. Well Fuk them. Even French news reported heavy Ukrainian losses.

Reports are that Ukraine has massed troops across from that nuke plant, they are desperate to get it back to produce power for their territory and also to sell, IF russia is not confident they can repell a large attack they should destroy enough equipment to make it unusable for a long time - years perhaps. Nuke plants are incredibly complicated, it wouldn't much to make it worthless(without damaging the reactor, etc).

Pedo-nazi children rape supporter Bigdumber has no fvcking clew on what he is talking about. Ukraine is going to take back Crimea. What a dummy.

All these weapons supplies from the West, Russia never tried to stop. Now French British and Germans saying they got no more, just enough for them selves. To restock it will take them 2-3 years. It was all part of the plan. Just like Putin said we had not even started yet.

i worked at a nuke plant , they key piece of equipment is the turbines - they're huge, maybe 30-40 ft across, they spin at 1000's of rpm's, basically giant jet engines spinning,  , custom made, blow one to bits and it couldn't be replaced for years.

Wouldn't the energy not being expended on that turbine cause the reactor to overheat?

No, they dont run unless the reactor is operating, it's my understanding the last reactor is being put into shutdown mode, so the reactor will just be sitting there(with the control rods inserted, etc), once that happens the plant will be just sitting there  - as it is during refueling outages.  Another key piece of equipment is the steam generator - which has thousands of tubes designed to transfer heat from the reactor loop to the turbine loop.  that's irreparable too.

I don't trust soldiers overrunning the place to shut it down correctly.

If the Ukranians can't defend it they should shut it down and secure it before something very ugly happens there.
