LCD, you are an idiot if you think that my play in the SBR tournies or the broke dick fuck tournaments here at TGF mean anything. You ever wonder why I go all in with nothing sometimes, like this week?? Well it is because I have something else to do. If you notices a lot of times I will show up late or I will win a hand but sitout for 20 minutes because I am doing other things.

Joey, I can GUARANTEE you that I am light years ahead of being a loser in live tournaments. I have over $550,000 in lifetime tournament earnings. You can see about 60% of my tournament cashes at thehendonmob.com. It doesn't include everything of course, but that site includes more than ANY other site for results and it is the only site that poker players use to check out a player. Also check out my % of outright wins versus cashes. Not too many people can have that great of a %. I don't play in too many live tournaments these days and I play ring game action. Hell I have 2 WSOP circuit rings as a matter of fact

wsop circuit lists you twice but neither has a better finish than 18th

South was a guy I remember scoping, he's very successful too.

Joey - maybe you're right.

However I don't need to worry about financing school because I'm on a full ride.

Moreover, I lost 50-60% of my Poker profit back betting the first 2 years- I didn't have a fukking clue what I was doing.

yeah, remember we were playing a few years ago and scoped you as well.  Smaller sample size but you beat a game I couldnt fathom beating.  You would definitely be a favorite over me heads up but nothing approaching -400.

I might be an idiot.  You also tilt.  Again in a tournament of 45 people, I'm saying you're the only one who tilts.  You were the only person (remember you were playing the WSOPME) who started berating someone for playing a hand that beat you this week.  That was the thing that started you going off in chat.  Then you bragged about the size of your pool.  Then you bragged about how much money you made.  Then you insulted BB.  Then you bragged about some other stuff.  Then you said I was a bellboy.  Then you played two hands you shouldn't have played.  And then DWI closed you out.  You might have a lot of time to do a lot of things but in the middle of playing the WSOPME you played a freeroll and you tilted.  You tilt hard, my man, really hard.

Timely -420!

Best of luck.  TID.

+200 is a fair price probably

-400 over someone In a 100 game sample is a lot.

I would say +200-250 is fair for a bad player versus a good.

Still have to get "lucky" 51 times. Coolers can be 10ish of those.

I wouldn't make myself -400 versus anyone but MikeYanks (he's awful)

Does anyone know what ever happened to that poker pro who used to post at the Rx (maybe still does)?  I think his name was Matt.

I can't remember his real name but he had over $2m in cashes (doesn't mean he is profitable,, just the the had that in cashes )

Just like Dr Death has $300k in cashes but has spend 400k + playing.

If you have the ability to generate a 75% ROI playing poker why are you working so many hours?  With any type of volume and and a very moderate starting roll you could be a multi millionaire in a very short time.     Now with Multis if you played 1000 or so online for mid/small stakes and popped one good one then your ROI is flawed anyway and sample size is nowhere near enough to justify any claims(no idea how many games you've played).

As far as PO,  is guy some great poker player, I wouldnt say so,  but making almost anyone -400 vs someone else in a heads up poker match is a pretty far stretch.  Phil Ivey doesn't merit -400 versus Joe Schmoe.

i have already trolled poor wvu enough today, and i have discussed this over the years but no problem answering one last time.

1. In a single heads up game? No, I would make myself -110 vs anyone. There's no edge there. I didn't realize WVU was talking SnG's when he said a 100 session challenge (didn't realize we were talking the old WVU Choptalk challenge); I figured it was closer to Joey's parameters than a SNG's parameters. In SNG's, over the course of 100, I wouldn't make myself of anyone -400 vs someone else. I agree there. -200 seems like a fairish number.

2. I like America. The group of guys I played with split  up when black Friday happened. A few of them moved to Canada, a couple moved to Vegas, and the rest of us tried to play at places like Absolute/Winning while working. Our most known player was probably BigEgypt - also known as Pokerjoe9. With that group I played under the name I use now, and under AMBlues19. I didn't want to move to a foreign country away from my friends and family, and I am not a fan of live poker so Vegas was out for me. I need a faster paced game - I frequently play in 8-10 MTT's at a time. I went to college for a reason I figured too, might as well use that for now. Poker will eventually, hopefully, come back. Using it as side money is fine for me now.

3. Once it took months upon months to get a few thousand, it stopped being worth the hassle. Poker is a grind; sweating the game is hard enough... to sweat getting paid was dreadful.

4. Obviously my ROI is  a slight reflection of a heater I went on before Black Friday, but it is also taking into account 5+ years of playing (2+ of those full-time). Also, obviously MTT ROI's vary mightily over the course of a year. I've gone on 3 month death rides in which you get fucked 30 times a day for 90 days. I had just won the $50 big tournament at Full Tilt, and the 150k rebuy at stars that month. My ROI was around 42% before those hits.

Well I guess that the WSOP doesn't report on the Satellite Circuit series. It was called the WSOP Circuit the next year. Well this one list at least 1 I believe. And again even this list is only about 60% complete with results

you need to read MilwaukeeMike, I never said check the WSOP site. Hell I never even look at that site for player results as it has less than 5% of most peoples lifetime cashes/ It would be like 1% for a lot of players who play other tours

His name was Matt Sterling and he sort of stopped playing after getting married about 3 years ago. he plays rarely now

well finally the fff lovers are coming to their senses about that -400 line.

I tell you exactly how this would play out.

JBD and I make this bet with trytrytry and WVU.

Timely plays PO heads up 100 times.  By the tenth game, after PO loses two hands he should have won he goes on monkey tilt.

WVU watches this and realizes I wasn't making shit up.  He calls up PO and starts yelling at him.

PO throws his phone (oh wait, that happened).

WVU:  PO please pick up the phone.

PO eats a sandwich but eventually he picks up the phone (it's not broken!).

WVU (in a calm monotone):  PO you are going to do exactly what I say and we are going to make some money.

PO (grumbling):  K.

WVU:  You're going to tell me your cards and I'm going to consult this handy-dandy ICM thing that I got as a mailer from the Advantage Players Warehouse.

PO then proceeds to tell WVU his cards.  WVU tells him over the phone to shove or fold.

-400 then becomes a dumb bet by JBD and me.  WVU you have no idea what happens when PO goes into beserker mode.  BB also would get to rail the match because that would cause a lot of fireworks.

With BB railing line goes to Timely -440!

WVU is one of those guys that hears xyz poker player has $5 MILLiON in lifetime cashes over 10 years and assumes the guy is rich. Let's not forget about all the lost buy ins and the travel cost that realistically eat up 90% of the winnings. So he has actually made 500k over 10 years or less than the average American.

Yeah, you got me.   :doh

All I know is PO had the balls to put up his 10k and is doing extremely well with it and all you pseudo poker pros are sitting at your computer taking pot shots at him.  LMOA

Joey I can promise you that I have never paid more than $100,000 in live tournament entry fees. Probably closer to around $60,000 and I have won over $550,000.

MM, the other tournament isn't included here as I said only around 60% of my cashes are even listed here

Oh and Joey, all of my hotels are always free. Sure I pay for airfare of gas
