bonds are still the way to play amc

the 2027 bonds are going for around 74/100... they pay 6.125% and when you add in the fact that you'll get 100, the return is around 15%/year!

dum dums buy the stock at absurd levels when they should just take the free 15%/year

mike, I’m a dum dum. I don’t have amc but I’m very interested in free 15%/year.

are there any other bonds like this out in the market; and how do I go about securing some?

not too many that pay this well

for corporate bonds you would have to use multiple sites... sometimes ameritrade has the amc bonds, sometimes they don't, all depends on the secondary market

there are plenty of good retail bonds paying 5-8% when you factor in the discount, stuff like macys/bed bath & beyond

or you could buy preferred stocks like pei-c... that one should double back up to 25, they have the cash to pay all the back dividends now

AHT - world opening up

i sure got lucky on the aht preferreds that i was holding

they went from 25 down to 1 and then back up to 25... company got saved by meme crowd, so they sold more stock like amc

the sister company bhr is much better in my opinion... they have better properties and way better financials
